I am trying to use the 2007 version on my Win98SE system. But I get the message "Runtime error 216 at 0040ADED" followed by "Runtime error 216 at 0040AE55" when I start the program. The 2006 version works without problems on the same system. Can someone help?

I have no more computer with Win98se to try with...
I did changed the install directories and a few other things for Vista compatibility, but I am not sure if it is related.
Remind me after the Worlds: I could try something...

Hi
I dont mean to scare you but according to the folowing article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259279
the error might come due to an virus on your computer.
Check your computer and come back with the result.

Best regards

HI Manu
This is the same problem I had back in June. As a result it also corrupted my 06 version which have reinstalled. I have now had to use a different computer with XP. As far as I am aware evrything else was OK. I think the problem is something to do with modifications for Vista. Some of us still have steam powered laptops!

P.S Thought your website for the worlds was great!

Thanks for the Worlds.
I will try to make a Win98 install, the same as last year...

I just uploaded another install process which might be better for Win98.
http://waterski.online.fr/download/scor ... up_w98.zip
(same user id and password as usual)

Please try and let me know: I don't have Win98 anymore, and can not test that.
I am also not sure that this is the problem...
