I have two questions about how to mark trick scoring.
The following round give two much score if I as a calculator dont do my job proper.
TB,TF,RTB,TBB,RTBB,TF,TB,RTF,TS,TWB,TWF
If I dont do anything the last RTF will be counted as 100 points.
What is the correct way to mark a trick not given becouse of a rule (in this case 15.9c)
For the turnament I used R (repeted) to get rid of the point but I am not sure it is correct.
Second q. I have learned that it is correct to restore your position if you loose the position between the base and reverse.
For example in the following by the judges
B,F,RB,RF,WB,WF,RWB,F,B,RWF
How do I give score for the last RWF.
Is it correct to score it? I can not find the rule for what I have learned except for if reading 15.9 c quite non restrictive "The
reverse shall not be disallowed simply because it follows an attempted trick which has not been credited".
What is the correct calculation and marking?
Best regards
Vilhelm

Re: Trick scoring
Sorry, no.villep wrote: The following round give two much score if I as a calculator dont do my job proper.

the RTF IS following a TF (trick #6), therefore, it can be counted.
(a nicer way to score it, would be to score TB, RTB at begining, no TF at begining, but TF, and RTF in the middle.
It is just cosmetic, as it will give the same number of points.
No, There is no such a rule: if the 2 tricks (F, B) have been seen by a majority of judges, then the RWF do not follow anymore the basic, and is scored 0villep wrote: Second q. I have learned that it is correct to restore your position if you loose the position between the base and reverse.

How do I give score for the last RWF.

Re: Trick scoring
Thanks for the explanation. I must be more careful about the trick numbering.
