Hello
Is it possible to build in a system check that will not permit results to be printed or published if jury names (minimum 1 x chief judge, homologator, scorer, judge and driver) are not entered into the software during set-up?
Thanks

Hi Andy,
It would be possible, but why should printing or publishing results not allowed without officials ?

Re: Results Validation Check Suggestion
Hi
Well, the rules for all IWWF competitions now state that results cannot be published on line without the CJ, & Scorer names (minimum) showing at the foot of the results page.
Same situation when printing. However, sometimes we do need to print results without the footer when they are unofficial e.g. when we print or publish interim overall scores during finals etc.
The main reason I think it would be a good addition is when you finally publish the competition results to the web site. This is where there have been problems in the past - with results showing and no CJ/Scorer signature footer.
What do you think?
