Printing individual class and other

Post by Reubski3 »

Hey Emanual,

I was submitting a tournament and was going to export the individual classification, it is not allowing me to press "select all" unlike others for example printing start list. As well, when changing the event schedule, is there a way that you can change the programing to allow me to change the order of the categories instead of using the arrows by changing the number like you do when making the start lists. As well is it possible for there to be a button to say apply round 1 schedule to round two, this would be really helpful.

I have noticed a one bug. After adjusting the event schedule, I press save, then I open "make starting lists", the dropdown menu for choosing the category is not always in order of the event schedule. As well when making the times for when we are starting and then the rest of the categories are following, is there a way to click apply to all for following? it is a lot of work for a big tournament. If there is a late participant added and I have to create a new category, where do I add a new category, in the event schedule, or in setup assistant.

I have attached two screenshot of two parts of the setup assistant, howcome sometimes these are clicked when I import a file, and sometimes they are not. The first screenshot catigories is not always clicked and in the second, create is not. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dwgdqm ... sp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/19KA_SL ... sp=sharing

When I publish the start lists, you can click on publish all in one html file, but that does not work, instead I have to doanload it as a pdf and put it in google drive, then make a sharable link like I did with the screenshots, is there any way around this?

Thanks,
Reuben

Hi Reuben,

Do you mean, when saving the scorebook data for the competition dossier ?
No, no "select all" button, as it takes only the classifications where the "Official classification" option is checked.
This forces you to check your self all classifications you want to send (and mark them as "official classification".
I have noticed a one bug. After adjusting the event schedule, I press save, then I open "make starting lists", the dropdown menu for choosing the category is not always in order of the event schedule.
For that kind of bug, I need: 1) the scoring file where you get that bug, 2) a screen shot showing the bug
As well when making the times for when we are starting and then the rest of the categories are following, is there a way to click apply to all for following?
No, sorry
If there is a late participant added and I have to create a new category, where do I add a new category, in the event schedule, or in setup assistant.
The assistant is really made to create a competition, not to add anything afterward.
That said, adding a category through the assistant should work.

Creating new category using the event schedule is the more flexible way, as you can set it differently as the rest of the competition.
But don't forget to add an individual classification (or one per event) for that new category.
I have attached two screenshot of two parts of the setup assistant, howcome sometimes these are clicked when I import a file, and sometimes they are not.
All categories of skiers listed in the imported EMS XML file should be clicked.
Maybe you did imported a competition, where no skiers were present ?
If you EMS XML file did have skiers in categories which are not clicked, then send me this XML file, that I can check if there is a bug...

Emmanuel

Ok, Thank you. I understand certain things are not possible, but is it possible to creat new code to make it possible. I have been teaching this software to other scorers and the way changing the event schedule is a lot of work changing the order of categories and making the times. Is there a way to make some code to change this. I am not asking for a quick fix. I understand this stuff takes months just wanted to let you know.

I just tried printing the calculation sheet for slalom from 18.25, It has bigger boxes and it perfect. what is supposed to be the difference beetween free speed and from 18.25?

Thx,
Reuben.

I suppose you are speaking about changing the event order in schedule:
Please attached here a screen shot of what is wrong, and the scoring file you have been using, that I can reproduce it.

If you are speaking about a "select all" button, it is on purpose not in export scorebooks window , to make the scorer looking at each classification and decide if it is an official one or not... as that should be made before the competition (when creating the competition with the assistant) and not afterwards !

ok, fine.

Free speed is starting at a lower speed than 55/58kmh: at 46kmh for example...
