Generation of ranking list data file

Post by Brian »

Sorry to ask what is probably a silly question with a very simple answer, but how does one generate a ranking list data file in txt or wst format?
Per the rule book
Sample text inputs
HINMAN;Dana;USA1234;;USA;M;98S056R;46.50;;;4.50;1980;R;1;IB;13.00;58;19980524;;Y;;3;USAM80123459;USA0001
HINMAN;Dana;USA1234;;USA;M;98S056R;;4100;;;1980;R;1;IB;;;19980524;;Y;;10;USAM80123459;USA0001
HINMAN;Dana;USA1234;;USA;M;98S056R;;;52.8;173.0;1980;R;1;IB;0.255;51;19980524;;Y;;1;USAM80123459;USA0001

The Waterski Scoring software is doing that for all E&A federations, and a few other around the world.
Ask the scorer of a competition to provide you the file(s).
- For E&A, the Scoring software will provide a .wst file (an enhanced version of IWWF rule book format)
- for IWWF, it provides a .txt file with the requested format, and where non ranking list suitable scores are filtered out.

So is that the command;
file -> export
?
and is there a way to include all scores, regardless of whether they qualify for the ranking list?

Again, sorry if the question is inannane.

No: File, "Save to Scorebook..."
This command will create 2 or 3 files :
- Example.wst file, for E&A Ranking list
- Example_Iwwf.txt, for Iwwf ranking list
- Example_JumpTimes.txt for Iwwf internal statistics (only for jump competitions...)
and is there a way to include all scores, regardless of whether they qualify for the ranking list?
in Example.wst file, all scores are always there.
in Example_Iwwf.txt, scores are always filtered, as it should be entered into Iwwf web site, which will reject the whole file if ONE data is not correct.
