Jump 3segment timing

Post by villep »

Hi
I think I saw a software for recording three segment timing in jump.
The software whre a simple program where you selected the speed and times via drop-down boxes.
I am not sure if it where you Emmanuel or Bob Corson thet wrote the program, but i cant find it any longer.
Do anyone know where to find the program?
Best regards

I don't have such a stand alone software,
but the scoring software has that build in.

I will do some more testing with the Waterski scoring program.
If anyone else knows about the program I am thinking about please reply so it is possible to compare and mayby get some ideas.

I can report an error that cause me to stop making the test yesterday.
* Open up an empty starting list for jump
* Press SCORE
* Press Calculation...
* Try to do some scoring (not possible since no skier I guess)
* Error: Now it is not possible to close the window.
"TableJumps: Can not performe this operation on a closed dataset."

You can open Excel, type the times in columns like written in rulebook, and save file as CSV....

I still think, that using the Scoring Software for each skier is the correct way, since all times will be written in wst file and send along results like everything else.

... and good guess: without skiers, it is not possible to enter times.
I just need to forbif it when no skiers is there.

Just seeing this now. I made a simple 3 segment timing entry program with drop down boxes. If you send me your email address, I will send it to you. However, if you have Emmanuel's program, it is better to use that.
The three segment times I have so far are recorded at http://www.iwsf.com/iwsftc/3Segment/getTimes.php

Thanks then I know.
Maybe if you send the program to Emmanuel he might be able to steel some ideas for making the input faster :-)
I will use Waterski-Scoring program for recording the times this weekend and think it will work all fine.

By the way. Is there any form to print out for the judge to note the times on?
I will use the "Jump calculation form for all angles" since I think the "Jump form for boat" ha to litle space to write all the information needed.

To input fast in the scoring programm, just input the 2 last digits. The programm should find the "seconds" itself.
Same for judge form: write only the 2 last digits, and you should have enough place on the actual form.

Thanks for the help. When knowing about the possibility to only input two digits the input where realy easy.
Also combined with the "live results" it felt realy good.
We had some problems with different namings between the program, rule book and PerfectPass instructions, but after figuring that out everything worked just fine.
