Overall tables, how to start a new?

Hello,

We are thinking to propose to our federation that we create our own overall country tables. This because the one we use now is not giving what we think justifiable points for the overall competition in local competitions. But before proposing anything I'd like to know exactly what it takes and what the consequences of our proposal will be. So I'd like to have an answer to some questions if possible:
- Who can get access to add a table to Waterski scoring?
- What does base mean, is it where the score starts to give points?
- What is base 2 then?
- Standard I suppose is 1000p
- What is Coeff, I understand that it's the coefficient to the score but is it related to base or base 2?
- How is the table updated every year so it can be distributed with Waterski scoring?

Best regards Tobias

Hello Tobias,

1) Overall access: until now, only myself: then it is centralized, and always distributed with the latest version.
update every year: you (or someone in your federation) have to send me in march or april the new standards you will use.

2) Base is where the starts to give points, yes.
Base2 is for Czech overall, as it have 2 "lines", to have higher score giving the same points as Eame overall, while giving also some points to lower score

3) Standard is the score getting 1000 pts
Coeff is the curve of the overall: formula is (score from base) ^ coeff / (standard from base) ^ coeff * 1000
1=straight line, Italian overall is using this coeff
