Re: Survey Coordinate entry. RTK GPS and even drone, help...

Hi James, I did not know about Vincenty formulae ! I had some other sources, which might rely on the very same formulas. Important is that we get the exact same results !! It is a relief that your results are the same as mine ! I also don't know anything about NMEA format, but if that is a standard ...

Re: Survey Coordinate entry. RTK GPS and even drone, help...

Hi James, Nice to know that some other people are also starting using RTK GPS device for waterski surveys. You need to know that I do NOT have any RTK GPS device. I did only develop this software, and Terry from Canada was doing the survey on his lake ! For now, there is no good import function. csv...

Re: Import skiers list

There is also a possibility to import skiers a csv file in a "national perfs" database Then it is possible to choose that when creating a skier (with "advanced" button) Go in menu "Administration", "Classic", "Skier's database", choose "PerfNational": then you have an import button available. Re: Import skiers list

Hi Jan, 1) for the "zip error", I need the file you tried to import, and a screen shot of the error message. You can post the file and screen shot here. 2) there is no import of csv file. 3) a .wsm file is a template file: this file can be used when creating a new competition, by selecting it in the...

Re: overall table in set up assistant

Hello, 2019 Eame overall tables are from E&A not available. This is the reason why they are not yet in the software. When you create a competition with the assistant, only the overall tables of the year are shown. As a work around, you can choose the NZL overall table, then, after you finish to crea...

Re: Display timezone

Hi Vilhelm,

It's a good idea.
I will add this to the TODO list.
Though I don't know how to display that local time in your browser, there are surely some possibilities.

Re: Event schedule setup

Hi Casper, No, you are not getting the process wrong. The software lack some functions and usability in that direction. 1) There is no option to set start times for multiple events at once. I don't think the software should decide the order of events. The chief judge should. To make something really...

Re: Survey Coordinate entry. RTK GPS and even drone, help...

If you find such a tool, I am VERY interested in it, at least to check what I program...
or to use, if I don't success in that programming !

Not a lot of thought on that type of survey, as I am not surveying any waterski courses anymore.
It is surely one of the possibility for the future.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for your GPS test file and the traditional survey.

Re: Survey Coordinate entry. RTK GPS and even drone, help...

Don't worry if not this week-end:
I need more times to find out how to work with GPS coordinates,
and then to program in software...
But I will start, and then when I get your survey, finish the work.

Re: Survey Coordinate entry. RTK GPS and even drone, help...

What would be very good to get from you as well, is the same slalom surveyed with both GPS and normal theodolite. (without changing any buoy position in between, of course). Then, once it is programmed, I could compare the issued results to be sure the software is working. Having only GPS survey, co...
