Is the WaterSkiConnect protocol public.
I would like to extract the data for a video overlay application.

Re: Multi computer access
Thanks for the reply, I will know if I run into troubles, when I'm in the middle of a comp, and things break
For 'read only' operation, the copy file is probably the safest option.

Multi computer access
With the new (great) features of scoring program linking to surepath++ we have a new challenge. With the online link between the different programs the scoring program has to stay in the calculation mode for the current skier throughout the tournament. In a tournament we often have small tasks, like...

EMS import
Hi Emmanuel We are all unfortunate that we now have to use the EMS system, and this wipes a lot of the data that has been built in the waterski scooring program. In Denmark we use the 'Club' field in all our competitions, this field is not available in EMS, hence I have to hand edit all skiers every...

Re: Event schedule setup
Hi Emmanuel Thanks for a fast response, and I like the fact that I am not totally off. 1) Absolutely, the judges should decide, I normally set all start times to 8:00 and set all but the first to 'Following', and then set the order by moving the events in the list. But it is the first task that is t...

Event schedule setup
Hi Emanuell There is one task of the scoring program that I always struggle with, can you help me understand if I am dooing it right or if you have functions implemented that I haven't discovered. When i build a competition i always start with the Setup assistant, this builds a basic event schedule ...

Re: Error in publish
Hi Emanuel I had another issue with the scoring program over our nationals. In both competitions the program did wrong clasification, I had skiers that independent of the score (i made a score on 9m) never moved above 4'th place. I had a tie, where the looser of the tie got a higher clasification (a...

Error in publish
I get an error when I try to publish files. This typically comes after publishing many files - I am setting up 2 competitions one with all age classes, so many files. First publish works well, first publish after publishing the starting lists, I get the error "Too many connections". Error ...

Re: Suggestion for new feature
Hi Emmanuel I was not expecting an update next week :-) A comment field would be nice. But from a note stating '=[Classic Slalom Couse]B10' and a global 'Update' button is not far - the database is in a generic windows format. I agree that making right click menus and automated updates does require ...

Re: Propriatary element
Hi Emmanuel This is not a big issue, the Junior course is not ranked - and only used for beginners and beginner competitions, and I can live with manually calculating the offset - the program does tell me all the data - they are just yellow.... This junior course is used in many lakes in Denmark, an...

Re: Suggestion for new feature
Hi Emamnuel Linking 2 buoys in the same element does only make sense in the Jump Video, here We use the 10,20,....60m buoys as B,D,.... and verification. You are right that entering the links will take more time than copying the data, but I normally reuse the same homologation file , and overwrite t...

Propriatary element
Hi Is it possible to create a propriatary element. We have a junior course in one of our lakes, similar to a disabled setup, but with 8.5m to the buoys. Currently I just use the disabled, and accept that the Junior course is marked as errors. But if I could create a table myself, setup will be more ...

Suggestion for new feature
Hi Thanks for a great software, very intuitive and easy to use. I do however have an suggestion for a new feature. We have (as many others) the jump course interleaved with the slalom course. this means that many buoys are shared between the courses, also in the jump video element, many data points ...
